Recruitment processes at StreamVX consists of three steps, and lasts for up to one week:

  1. Phone call with Kasia - our HR Manager, when you will be scheduled for a meeting with Kasia and one of the team members. The meeting is either online or in person in our Gdansk office.
  2. Interview, when you will receive more details about the company, our team, and the technology sector we operate within. You may be asked to perform a short task after the interview, which lets us see you in action when it comes to technology expertise.
  3. A fireside interview with our CEO, Szymon, who will discuss your future in StreamVX. If you succeed, we are more than happy to welcome you on the next business day.

Your responsibilities:

  • Taking part in developing / designing system architecture for clients and / or extension / modification of existing ecosystems, in cooperation with Chief Architect.
  • Giving technical advice on products and services regarding TV, streaming and video systems to industry customers, as a member of the engineering team.
  • Defining customer needs, gathering insights, and participating in business meetings, including but not limited to requirements specification and other documentation.
  • Writing  technical descriptions as part of offers, showing and presenting technical expertise to customers, in cooperation with the Head of Sales and Account Manager.
  • Arranging, preparing, and merging project documentation including technical specifications, as part of the B2B sales processes.
  • Supervising development, implementation and performance of ICT business contracts based on video, TV, and streaming services of the company.
  • Ongoing technical reviews of current and planned projects - in cooperation with PM and Head of Product, including ensuring high quality of technical service and compliance with customer requirements and insights.
  • Building, maintaining, and developing long-lasting business relationships with clients, partners, vendors, industry leaders on all decision-making levels.
  • Gathering insights about competitors, analyzing industry trends, being in the loop with market news, in order to support business decisions based on data and forecasts.
  • Reporting the status of processes, tasks, and duties to senior staff, according to company standards and tools, including reporting to C-level executives.
  • Organizing, arranging, and conducting tests, training and presentations for customers and prospects, both online and offline, within the company and at the clients’ offices.

Your skills and assets:

  • Knowledge and experience in working with telco devices or appliances, in particular with technologies used in DVB, digital television, or video streaming
  • Knowledge and experience of architecture regarding software products for digital television services, especially broadcast distribution, and OTT.
  • Knowledge of the architecture of production systems and understanding the needs of operators and / or providers of digital television services (cable, satellite, terrestrial, IPTV).
  • Professional experience in working with one or more of the following: TV broadcasters, operators, providers of digital TV services (cable, satellite, terrestrial), suppliers of products and services for the TV industry, integrators, product software companies.
  • Knowledge of the TV industry in Poland, along with a familiarity of technical aspects in the TV markets of Europe LATAM and Spanish speaking countries would be a significant advantage.
  • Experience in developing and/or supporting the technical aspects of one or more of the following processes: POC (Proof of Concept), RFI (Request for Information), RFP (Request for Proposal), and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Technical education, including specialties such as telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, and any related profile.
  • A basic knowledge of PM methodologies for software development - agile (Scrum), waterfall, Kanban.
  • Basic programming skills, including Linux OS, network engineering, and microservices architecture of ICT solutions would be beneficial.
  • Very good knowledge of English in speaking and writing, including technical phrases and industry terms.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish, also including technical phrases and industry jargon, would be a huge advantage.
  • A familiarity with online tools designed to manage your own workload, and tasks distributed within the team (ClickUp, ActiveCollab, Jira, Asana etc.) would be a plus.

  • Confident in articulating opinions and able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and proactive in action, able to take the lead when needed to support clients in developing their business.
  • Supporting the tech team in an agile-way to deliver high-quality products and services.
